For more than 50 years, the Atlanta Regional
Commission (ARC) and its predecessor agencies have been the key
source of information about the Atlanta Region. As the regional
planning agency for the 10-county area, ARC compiles the most current
Atlanta Region data, forecasts future trends and keeps track of
the most critical issues facing the area. ARC offers the following

a community ’s physical “form ”is its most intrinsic and enduring
